Long time, no see and I hope that everyone is well! Despite lots of people working hard, the turnout numbers were dismal, and I'm still trying to get over the county wide races lost here. edit: No, I'm not over it yet...roughly 13.5% of the voters in this county determined the outcome of the election, and some precincts pulled in 8% or less of the registered voters to actually show up to vote...gggrrr.
Still trying to get over the anger of low turnout. A lot of us could have not phone banked, staked signs, worked for the county party to try to increase voter turnout, and the result would've been the same. I stayed away because i was furious, now I'm pissed, and perhaps need to keep it to myself a little longer.
I used to be able to vote for Gwen Moore! I have no idea who Sensenbrenner's Dem. opponent but I'll vote for him/her. At this time (Dino) Mary Burke has a slight lead over (Snot)Scott (Wanker)Walker. & I'll have to vote for her since there's no one else to vote for!
Hoping that all is well with you! The comments can be hilarious as some don't realize that it's satire and try to pick fights, and some of the regulars feed them, and all hell breaks loose!
