It is a Societal Advantage that we whites have

It is a dis-advantage that non-whites endure.

It can be overcome, this dis-advantage of not being born white.

Our goal in life, and through our politics as Liberals, is to make the dis-advantages be easier to overcome and eventually do away with all dis-advantages.

First we must recognize the built in advantages/dis-advantages before we can make progress. And that is what the white-privilege threads are about.

Much progress has been made in 50 years but there is still a long road ahead of us to reach that place where our society does not judge one by the color of their skin.

Our Democratic Party has been a great vehicle to get us down the road this far. Left up to us, this country will find the end of the road where all are equally advantaged.

Then will we all be living in a more perfect union.
