I'm going back and forth with one of these 'I'm tired of hearing about it. I don't notice a cop's color.' kind of people.

This is no big deal, really. But if you have a minute, maybe you can explain to this guy better than I can why the % of black cops might matter in an AA community.

I'm trying to resist blasting this guy. Holding my tongue. I want to start engaging people rather than antagonizing them because there's too much of that already, and it's not working. Also trying to be a better me.

he will continue to repeat the same bullshit over and over. It's wilful ignorance, cognitive dissonance, and nothing you say will cause him to rethink his
position.

But good luck to you, they aren't interested in truth and they don't do 'reality'.
