Our host migrated us FROM a Linux server TO a Windoze server, and, with absolute predictability, screwed it up and can't fix it. Who on Earth would even think of such a thing?!

(25,938 posts)Not quite the scale of your problem, but it wasted a lot of my time regardless. Tried in vain to find drivers for a microscope camera that the manufacturer stopped supporting about the same time that Windows XP was cast aside.

(146,305 posts)Migrate your site to another host, post haste. For business-critical websites, choosing the right host is crucial, and the deciding factor should never be who charges the least.
