Sen. Wendy Davis in her memoir due out next week discloses the most personal of stories preceding her nationally marked fight against tighter abortion restrictions: a decision she and her then-husband made 17 years ago to end a much-wanted pregnancy.

[...]
Davis, in a copy of the book obtained by the Express-News, wrote that her unborn third daughter had an acute brain abnormality. She said doctors told her the syndrome would cause the baby to suffer and was likely incompatible with life.

[...]
“An indescribable blackness followed. It was a deep, dark despair and grief, a heavy wave that crushed me, that made me wonder if I would ever surface... And when I finally did come through it, I emerged a different person. Changed. Forever changed,” Davis wrote

Wendy's opponent in the Texas gubernatorial race, Greg Abbott, "believes that abortion should be illegal with no exceptions for rape, incest, or to protect the life of the woman."

The choice is clear, and I #StandwithWendy.

So she deserves to be a human sacrifice for even a non-viable fetus, like that poor woman in Ireland. Fucking unbelievable. This must be shouted from the rooftops.

Abbot doesn't care because it's not his life. But I would hope, like Santorum, if it were his wife or daughter, that he would be begging the doctor to save her life. These hypocrites are dangerous and I hope the voters of Texas aren't so brainwashed by all the rhetoric that they can't see it. Abbot has so many problems as a candidate, I can't believe anyone is supporting him other than the R behind his name.
