It seems that whenever we get a Democratic president, the Democrats never stand up for him. Obama, just like Carter is standing pretty much alone against a barrage of hate.

The Rs speak with one voice (through many media) - coordinated talking points and tons of money to alter public opinion, often with lies. What do Democratic politicians or people who call themselves Democrats do about it? Nothing.
The Rs are getting so ridiculous it would be like shooting fish in a barrel to set the record straight but they don't.

If we were a nation full of people who loved it, we wouldn't have 90% of the problems we have.

What we have are people who love putting down others, stealing everything from the less powerful, emulating the more powerful, and violence.

There is no demonstrable love of America, at home or abroad.

It was the love that foreigners had for America that kept America alive through most of the 20th century. Now even that idealism has been killed by the PNACers at the State Dept, the Chicago school of economics, the NSA, CIA, FBI and all the alphabet agencies, and numerous wars for corporate interests that overthrew other people's attempts to build their own nations into something like what was good in ours.

No, it's only FDR Democrats who give a care, and we are few and far between: the first generation is dying off, the later generations are getting sidetracked and defeated by this very corrupt culture.

Much as I'd like to drop-kick them off the edge of the earth, the sad fact remains that we can't break up the country w/o creating even greater problems. The south needs us more than we need them, but we still need them. Or their territory anyway. I hope you and I (and many others) live to see more of those old bastards just die out and solve the problem for us. SOME of their kids aren't quite as bad.

I challenged some conservatives to condemn Rand Paul for talking bad about the US on foreign soil. They could not stick to their principles. I admitted I had to let Rand Paul go, as I had for the Dixie Chick. So I was being consistent. They still would not bring themselves to condemn Paul - and they should have, if talking bad about their President while on foreign soil was really a problem for them.

Republicans have no principles. Whatever they claim are their principles are just excuses. They will change them when the wind blows another way.

Sexism started first. Neither sexism nor racism are worse than another. Men of all races and religions find it much more "socially acceptable" to attack and degrade women. Women have had the crappy end of the male-female deal for a long long long long time.

You know of the concept of white privilege I would assume. There is an older concept called male privilege. Not all men abuse and debase women, but i would stretch it to say the majority do.

Remember: to know thyself is divine.

Financially supporting and benefiting from the destruction of our country, our citizens and our natural environment. No friends to democracy, freedom, liberty and justice are they.
Make no mistake. They love money more than America.
The people funding the attacks against everything liberals stand for and try to stand up against are aided & abetted by average investors who can't be bothered to live a life that makes things better. Instead choosing, even in the face of knowledge that they are undeniably making things worse for all living things, to stay the course.

If 'THEY' are the average Southern Baptist under the influence of the average Southern Baptist preacher, then yes they hate Obama ... and they think 'THEY' are America.

If 'THEY' means the traitors giving the same talking points to Fox & Rush & Reverend-whoever, then THEY don't care about Obama at all, but they care about money, power, control and they know the best way to achieve their goals is to fire up the divisions within society so that there's no organized push-back when they buy our government out from under us.

All I'm saying is:

GOP base: Ignorant, spiteful, bigoted morons...

GOP leadership: Not stupid. Just pure evil.
