Bill Maher: Elizabeth Warren Should RUN & DEFEAT Hillary In 2016

Bill Maher wants Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to run and defeat Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016.

"Love her. Absolutely. Wish she would run," the comedian and political commentator told Charlie Rose in an interview. "She would be absolutely my preference above Hillary."

He said of President Barack Obama, "I would love it if his economic policy was more like Elizabeth Warren's."


The host of HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher" is not a big fan of the former secretary of state. Despite his progressive political inclinations, and his donation of $1 million in 2012 to help Obama get re-elected, he said he'd consider supporting Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) over Clinton.
