I Do Not Think Oscar Pistorius Will Go To Jail

From what I heard from the judge, I do not think Oscar Pistorius will spend any time in jail. Yes, the judge did find Oscar Pistorius guilty of culpable homicide, but she also claimed he did not act like someone who intended to murder someoneone. She went on to list the things Pistorius did after shooting Reeva Steenkamp. She said Pistorius "acted promptly in seeking help soon after the incident", he called out for help, called a friend, called 911, called security "although he could not speak as he was crying", and "he prayed to God to save the deceased's life".

Maybe the judge will give Oscar Pistorius either a short sentence, or the full fifteen years, but I do not see that happening. At this point I will be more surprised if Pistorius spends even one day in prison. I expect the judge to say it would be wrong to send Pistorius to prison when he had no intention to murder someone.

I never heard of the guy before this. I watch a few of the news clips of the trial. Since I don't have all the details, I will wait to hear from the Judge who does.
