Obama being the 1st black President will NEVER lose its significance for me

NEVER.

I don't care how many Michael Moores try to downplay it, it will never lose its meaning for me.

Does that mean I've agreed with everything Obama has done? OF COURSE NOT!

But that will NEVER take away the significance of history.

Carry on.

It is a great milestone in what has been a country with a deep racist background. However, did you think maybe some of us wanted him to be recognized for more than the color of his skin? He should be more. He's one of us. If we criticize him, it may have something to do with our political desires for the country. Has he been given a fair shake? Obviously no. But quit calling Michael Moore a racist please unless you have less expectations from Obama than those of us that elected him. Peace out and get to work on issues that affect us all.
