The subject for this contest is "the LINE," the most elemental of the elements of design. A line can be straight or curved, jagged or rolling, straight, diagonal, up, down or sideways. It can draw you in or send you away.

The top two finishers in each round will advance to the finals, along with the next four highest vote-getters overall.

The preliminary round will run 72 hours, ending on September 15th.

11. The Bradbury Building in L.A. has a similar feel, often used as a SciFi set.

For instance, in Demon with a Glass Hand, the best of the best of the Outer Limits TV program.

30. As in #1 and #2, I voted to keep my second favorite in the running since my

favorite is in the lead by lots--though tied this time. I know which will get my vote in the finals ("Feather&quot , but "Genesis," IMO, deserves second place.
