(4,452 posts)I see that after WW2 at least, and especially after the fall of the Soviet Union, our nation has shown itself to be arrogant and without respect for the other people of the planet unless there was a dollar to be made by giving someone else the illusion of getting a fair deal.

That stick is so important to American policy in general, that we'd starve people, let them drink filth and toxins while cheating them of education and healthcare in order to keep swinging it.
