Entitlement focused people..used to travel a lot for work, and folks would pitch a fit when they could not get upgrades into first class. I did step in one time, when a man was being really nasty to a gate agent.

"Oh, that's right! You're Sara Palin! Why the hell wasn't I recording this?!"

Hopefully, a video of the incident will appear soon.

I suppose if you attempt to use your super powers to protect someone other than yourself, there is an element of bravery to it.

But I still wouldn't mind seeing a video of the Palin family losing it.

friend of hers who came down here to Florida to visit for a few days, from Las Vegas, where she had a job. She brought a along a young woman who is now doing well in movies, but not so much then. They all went to International Mall, went into the Godiva Chocolates store. Young actress asked for an assortment that is only available (made for) first class airline flights. Clerk said no, we do not carry that assortment in retail stores. Actress told her to look in the back, clerk said no, actress said "Do you know who I am??!!!".
Clerk said, honestly, "No".
Actress flounced out. My friend had never heard anyone say that, seriously, before. Laughed about it for days.
(Not giving out name of actress, this is not TMZ, just saying that stupid phrase does get uttered more than one would think.)

I was the organizer of an art festival. The people in the community know me, I've had a home there for 17 years. I also designed the brochures and advertising. As is almost always the case with art shows, photography is not permitted without permission of an artist or the event organizers. Copyright reasons.

My granddaughter came to the show and was enjoying an interactive painting exhibit we had put up right in front of our booth. I took out my iPhone and took a quick shot of her painting. The guy in the booth next to me jumped up and came running over to me, asking me if I lived there and what the hell I was doing taking pictures. "Do I live here?" I said. "Do you know who I am? I'm running this show." He grumbled something rude to me and walked away. I figured since I was, in fact, the organizer I had given myself permission to photograph my own granddaughter.

publicly said, "I am not a crook." I saw it on TV news.

My jaw nearly dropped. I was almost in shock. My first thought was,
"How could the president of the United States make such a statement?!?!"

Note: both of them are/were Republicans. These are people with social
values and manners from the gutter. The amount of wealth they may or
may not have means nothing. They're still from the gutter.
