what scares me is that it isn't necessarily the person with the best ground team ... in Michigan we have had our legislature and judiciary taken over by right wing nut jobs because of an inflow of $$$$ from out of the state.

Ground game is only one factor, but it is basically the only one in the hands of the people...regular people getting other regular people out to vote.
