The best thing about the Teachout-Wu challenge was that we went outside the dismal ranks....

... of the cookie-cutter NYS DEM machine... at LONG friggin' last...... and found people who could think, breathe and speak intelligently and meaningfully for a change.

In this case we went to academe; but there's plenty of talent out there. We just have to break the stranglehold this political system has that enables it to thrust on us an endless parade of numb-skills, demagogs and thieves.

Here's to you NYS DEMs! ( At least 40% of you.)
