Gen.Wesley Clark (ret.) Was not only prescient but had the foresight to see what Russia's plans were/are regarding Ukraine. The video I linked here was posted on April 28, 2014. Long before the spread of unrest and invasion by Russian forces in eastern Ukraine.

We as a party must be pragmatic and realistic with the world as it is, and not a world that we wish we have. People like Gen.Wes Clark and countless other Democrats, must be welcomed and not be spurned away as some kind of war mongerer or war profiteers - as some of our brothers and sisters on the left often do - We must have a vigorous debate about every issues, and most especially when it comes to National security issues.

I am a proud liberal, but am also tempered with my real life experience and keenly aware that not everyone will automatically see things my way.
