who refuse to learn how to cook and make enough to eat at good restaurants, kiddies in tow.

$$$ restaurants would do well to have divided areas, one for the family that needs to eat and one for people who came to dine.

therefore, I don't even know if I've ever encountered anything like you describe...we just go with the flow. It seems like you don't even like going out to eat - why do you bother if it's such a hardship?

I guess I prefer to just relax and look for the positives than build up such a distaste for these folks

to each his own . . .

I think you would be well-advised to never send anything back to the kitchen - you might not appreciate the results (if you were to somehow become aware)

Once in awhile a server makes a mistake with an order, and once in awhile the service is slow, but I don't get my undies in a bunch about it. I couldn't think of 46 complaints about restaurant service if I tried, and if I found it that awful I wouldn't eat out.

going to be able to satisfy you. Much of what you are complaining about are policies from management not the server. Considering servers are waiting on several other tables than yours they don't remember everything an individual asked for so sometimes must ask questions. I doubt if you could do better.

As a former server myself, I can almost tell that you don't leave tips so are trying to justify your actions.

Next time you are dissatisfied take it up with the management. If they agree that you have a LEGITIMATE gripe, you might get a free meal.

of total bullshit. people aren't perfect... neither are you. you don't like the way they're doing their job you can talk with them about it and you have a right to raise objections but if you are bothered by all of these things, i think it would be best for you to stay in and not go out to eat... this list is bordering on a psychosis.

Dear god so much effort for exactly zero results. imagine if someone put that much effort into writing a novel or trying to make a real difference in something that actually mattered instead of whining about the smallest tiniest little things.

I look forward to the dissertations on the sins of librarians, taxi drivers, movie theater ushers, and whoever else has the sad misfortune to interact with the author.
