Don't ya just want to wipe that smirk off his face with low ratings at mtp?
"LAZY"? I dunno.. Chucky seems awfully busy carrying RW talking points all over the tv.. like he has all the energy in the world. Just when it comes to the facts he falls down on his job.
This is my letter to nbc from last week and so far.. CRICKETS..
******contact.nbcnews@nbcuni.com******
Dear Deborah Turness,
Chuck Todd was horrible on his debut MTP show and not very bright. And, so full of himself.. telling the President how to speak.. like he knows anything.
The President mentioned Syria 4 times and the Todd came up with the following..
"Youve not said the word, Syria, so far in our conversation. Obviously, if youre going to defeat ISIS, you have used very much stronger language. Its gone through the week during your trip to Wales. You got to go to Syria in some form or another."
Notice that President Obama's last mention of Syria came two sentences before Todd made his fatuous statement.
If one of the traits of a good interviewer is listening to the answers given by the subject, Chuck Todd fails miserably.

(482 posts)Gregory delivered too many softball questions and let people get away with too much. I always felt that the did this because if he did ask the hard questions people would refuse to come on the show. I catch clips from the show but rarely sit down to watch the broadcast anymore. I was glad to see him go and actually more hopeful than some that Todd would be an improvement. He isn't off to a good start. I would love to see MTP get back on track.
Cha
(297,029 posts)I don't even know who the reputable Press would be to Meet? Chucky Todd will never do that. We had his number before he even got started and my prediction is he's only going to get deeper and deeper into the gop owing him an enormous debt of gratitude.

Dufus Dave Gregory lost a lot of viewers for MTP and Toad is not going to bring them back.

(45,251 posts)They have begun a series of interviews with potential Presidential candidates. They started with Bernie, no doubt in the hope that everyone will forget about him by 2016 and they gave him only a few minutes. Besides, Todd cut him off when he started talking about the Kochs.
Todd kept trying to put nasty words about Obama and Hillary in Sanders' mouth. Over and over, Sanders refused to take the bait.
I have a OP with links to the video of the MTP inteview with Bernie, a petition to encourage Bernie to run and a face book page.

I don't care if he has a chance or doesn't have a chance. America needs to keep hearing the things Sanders said to Chuck Todd in that interview!
Cha

I read that about Bernie not taking any bait Todd was throwing out. He's too smart for that.
