Vikings: We got our asses kicked so we're putting Adrian Peterson back on the field...

No, the Vikings did not actually say that, I was being rhetorical after just hearing the breaking news that Peterson will return to the field to prepare and play in next Sunday's game.

the public, which includes NFL fans, has displayed little tolerance for off-field violence

don't bet on him playing.

unless you get good odds

people like Charles Barkely have supported him. He may not play next week, but there is a lot of support for him.

Well, that didn't take long. Less then 48 hours.

Whatever support he had
was nothing compared to the outcry against him.

There will always be folks on either side of controversy, but that doesn't mean the sheer numbers are equivalent. As you can see they are not.

Perhaps credit is due to the fans of the the most popular spectator sport in America.

Management doesn't care if anyone is offended. They won't have a
multi-million $$ investment sitting around with his thumb up his ass.

Peterson's money is a pittance compared to sponsorship money. Two sponsors are already being aggressive on this. Radisson has already divorced themselves from the Vikings. A-B is talking about doing the same.

He won't be playing this week.
