I owe people on DU a massive mea culpa

Today, I posted on the Adrian Peterson situation saying that I believed he should be punished by the NFL, but that it should wait until the legal proceedings were over.

On the way back from University, I learned that Adrian Peterson not only beat another one of his children, but scarred him in the process. I'm beyond disgusted by this situation and while I do believe in due process before the law, I now realize that people such as Adrian Peterson need to be removed from the public eye at the first chance. He still deserves due process, but he doesn't deserve to be drawing a big fat NFL paycheck and playing in front of millions of people while he fights his legal case. For the good of society, we simply can not afford to lift this man up as a millionaire role model.

I realize how stupid my post was now. I'm sorry for it and it was a mistake.

But I'm very glad you came around to the truth. A.P. is a fucking douchebag who really should have gotten the goddamn boot the minute we learned of this; frankly, in my view, he might be even worse than Ray Rice....whose own offenses were bad enough.
