About a month or so ago, I posted about Yahoo's featuring of right-wing articles on its home page. I thought it very Fox-like as they seemed to dominate the page. Lately though, I've seen a huge increase in pro progressive articles. So, has yahoo actually made the decision to be more inclusive or is it just the law of averages catching up?
I'm just wondering. This is not really important enough to discuss. I just felt that Yahoo deserves this post to address my previous one.

(7,318 posts)That's one of the reasons DUers state that Yahoo is a right wing media site.
As the poster above said, what you see on the yahoo homepage is personalized to you. If at first you were seeing right wing articles, well then they had you pegged as someone who gravitated to that part of the political spectrum. If now you're seeing progressive articles, well as far as their algorithms can tell, your interests appear to have changed.

(7,316 posts)I see that with the ads. They're obviously scanning where I've been despite my frequent scrubbing of my cache. The articles are different. I usually only click on the right wing articles, so that would tell them I'm a conservative. I usually see the left wing articles here on DU as soon as or earlier than on yahoo. I guess they see that I visit this site.
The majority of comments are teabaggerish, but that's no different from what I've found elsewhere.
