1. It is surreal how long those recordings have invaded my house. Too many years to count n/t

2. Rachel called us last week using our own phone number on the caller ID

along with a version of my name that I've never used in my life.

I was so pissed I complained to the FTC, but they rejected my complaint because the number of the caller was the same as my own. So I wrote them an irate letter about this practice and asking them to adjust their complaint parameters to that victims of this particular scam could file complaints.

Not that I expect my complaint to be dealt with.

3. Rachel did that to me, too!

I was livid. Since then I've watched as my number morphed into all permutations.

Don't know why she keeps calling here. No one ever answers.

4. Interestingly the new Lufthansa linked card that we got from Barclaycard

Uses - Card Services as their name.

So now I'll have to be careful about being rude to them.

6. Rachel and Heather's real name is Dana M. Miano

She and her husband Christopher Lee Miano, and their companies A+ Financial Services and Accelerated Accounting Services, settled with the FTC last year on a case against them for their robocalls. They were supposed to pay fines and stop making these calls.

Obviously they have not stopped. I suppose "Lisa" is another alias.

Christopher Miano was arrested in 2011 on charges of DUI (3rd violation) and driving with license restrictions. It's the same guy, owner of A+ Financial Services.
