And Rihanna has responded - Twitter Tuesday!

And Rihanna has responded.

The uber-popular singer took to Twitter Tuesday morning to take a hard shot at CBS for pulling her musical opening from last week's premiere of "Thursday Night Football."

In case you missed it, CBS had planned to run a taped musical segment featuring Rihanna last Thursday. But in the wake of the Ray Rice domestic abuse incident, CBS pulled the Rihanna song from the opener. Due to the serious tone of the opening after the Rice incident, the network deemed the musical bit was no longer appropriate, nevermind the fact that Rihanna herself is a survivor in a high profile domestic abuse incident with former boyfriend Chris Brown. In the 2009 incident, Brown physically abused Rihanna and received probation after entering a guilty plea to one count of felony assault.

Now CBS wants to run the Rihanna segment this week, but the hip-hop diva will have none of it, tweeting: "CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, F*** you! Y'all are sad for penalizing me for this."
