WTF Sen Carl Levin! Condescending, smug remarks to anti-war protestors

Last edited Tue Sep 16, 2014, 07:40 PM - Edit history (1)

Anti war protesters who exercised their freedom to protest, interrupted Levin, speaking at the hearing on ISIS.
This is how he responded to American's concerns for this war:
"You're being very warlike"
"Don't take advantage of freedom of this place"
____________
These are American Citizen's CARL. These ARE OUR FREEDOMS..what an arrogant jerk.
American citizens that work to pay your lifetime salary DO NOT WANT MORE WAR.
______________
Sucks that we have to shout it in their faces just to be heard.
Thanks for giving me a place to rant

EDIT To Add:
Senator "MoreWar" McCain just sat there & laughed as the protesters were lead away.

The more I read as to the US involvement in bringing about ISIS in the first place, just reiterates the claim that War is Profit.
And once again the loss of life will be forgotten by the profiteers as their bankroll grows.
And once again the American Citizens who actually PAY TAXES to sustain this Nation, will be on the hook for this "war" and the profiteers will pay none of the cost.
And Sen Levin dare sit there and silence our freedoms with a couple of demeaning & condescending one liners.

Fucked up fucking bunch of bull shit.
I am SO PISSED at Senator Levin. They are all too busy shining the same pair of boots. imo

When my deceased brother was here 11 years ago he was one of the most anti Bush critics.

This place is now only slightly less bellicose and right wing warrior supporting, than Dick "Draft Dodger" Cheney.

Media barely showed the truth of those anti war protests.

We were silenced then as we are today.

lulled a lot of people into complacency, and some into something even more perverse. and there seems to be a concerted effort to "sell" some shit that would never be bought if an R was in the white house.

After watching the insulting behavior of Levin & McCain, I doubt the American citizens are recognized at all. Its about making & protecting profit for themselves through our law making branch. Protecting their personal investments in Global Oil & the MIC. And the second, in this case is used to support the first.
