Manhunt in Woods for Armed Survivalist Who Shot Two State Troopers

Police in Pennsylvania are combing the Poconos for a rage-affected, cop-hating 31-year-old prepper and shooting enthusiast who "doesn't miss" after he reportedly ambushed two state troopers at their barracks, killing one and injuring another.

Eric Matthew Frein now faces first-degree murder and a host of other charges in connection with the attack that killed Cpl. Bryon Dickinson and injured Trooper Alex Douglass last Friday, ABC News reports:

He's a skilled shooter who "doesn't miss," his father, a retired U.S. Army Major, told police. The father also told police that he was missing two weapons, a .308 rifle with a scope and an AK-47, according to court documents released today...

Police who searched his home found a copy of a book entitled Sniper Training and Employment, according to the court documents.

this country's obsession with guns, and the insistence on the part of the NRA that everyone be armed at all times with no exceptions.

Did you see the story about the elementary school teacher in Utah (I think) whose gun went off while she was in the restroom. And that the law in the state does not allow the schools to forbid armed teachers in the classroom nor (I think) even ask which teachers are carrying. The only regulation they seem to have is that the teachers keep the gun with them at all times, even in the restroom.
