Condoleeza Rice for NFL commissioner??

She has expressed interest in the job, and as a woman she would be much more sensitive to the issues of domestic violence and child abuse.

Goodell has been (rightfully) accused of not taking these issues seriously enough, so I think having a woman in the job could bring about some positive changes.

Might not be a bad idea.

with someone who is a war criminal partially responsible for over 100,000 deaths.

That this would be advocated by a major newspaper shows the depravity of our age. Not to mention the indifference to human life as long as that life is brown-skinned, powerless and foreign. Everyone directly involved in Chimpy's reign of torture and murder should be in prison, and it will be our national shame forever that those war criminals are walking around wealthy and carefree today.

Condoleezza Rice for NFL commissioner?
by Alicia Maule
09/13/14

This was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. In light of the scandals plaguing the league, few people at this point would likely call his position a “dream job.” Just so happens, former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice has long been on the record saying that very thing.

Now, many — from Hollywood actor Rob Lowe to Arizona Sen. John McCain — are looking at Rice to rescue the main organization behind America’s beloved pastime. It is widely known that the former top official for the George W. Bush administration has a deep affinity for football and that she described serving as NFL commissioner as a dream job.

”That’s absolutely right,” she told Mike Freeman of The New York TImes in a 2002 interview, ”though not immediately and not before Paul Tagliabue is ready to step down.”

-snip-

“Condoleezza Rice would be a good person for (Goodell) to call and have a discussion with him. I think she can help him,” Arizona Sen. John McCain told TMZ.

Someone who isn't afraid to throw a punch or ten when things get tight.

You don't want an academician like Rice who lets other people do her fighting and killing for her.

No, you want a real mama grizzly, a gal who'll scream "Don't you know who I am?" in the middle of a drunken brawl.

There's really only one woman who fits right in with the NFL's current cast of domestic abusers and child abusers.

And you know who she is.

a complete liar without a shred of integrity.
She was also in charge of foreign policy during the single most disastrous FP decision America made.
Why on Earth would such an untrustworthy person make a good commissioner?
Why would anything she ever said be believed.
Why not just put GWBush there, at least he was a sports team owner?
