EU parliament fines far-right Polish member for racist language
European parliament authorities have fined Polish far-right MEP Janusz Korwin-Mikke €3,000 for using a "racist" term during a meeting in July. Korwin-Mikke is accused of comparing unemployed European youths to "czarnuchy" - a derogatory Polish word for "blacks". He says he used the word "murzyni" - a milder term.
