Sorry for trying to throw a football full of drugs into the prison yard(gets 17-60 months)

The football contained marijuana, suspected heroin and three cell phones, according to Michigan State Police Detective Trooper Toby Baker.

Moore, 22, said he wasn't looking for an easy way out as he apologized to the courtroom and to his pregnant fiancee for leaving her in a tough position.

He was under probation at the time of the offense for home invasion in 2012, and this was something that concerned Jackson County Circuit Judge Susan Beebe during the sentencing Wednesday, Sept. 17.

"You just finished a prison term, and that's what is disturbing to the court," Beebe said to Moore. "You know all about the type of havoc this type of contraband can have on the prison system."
