Christie Says He’s ‘Growing Tired’ of Bridge Investigation

By Terrence Dopp Sep 18, 2014 1:04 PM ET

Governor Chris Christie said he’s “growing tired” of the New Jersey legislature’s investigation into politically motivated traffic tie-ups at the George Washington Bridge a year ago.

Speaking today in Trenton, the second-term Republican said Assemblyman John Wisniewski, co-chairman of the legislative panel investigating the scandal, is “just attempting to keep his name in the papers.”

Wisniewski and Democrats who control the legislature and the panel probing the scandal are “addicted to MSNBC” and are leaking information for publicity, the governor said. Christie decried the leaks, especially records of interviews his administration conducted with lawyers that were disseminated this month when he was traveling in Mexico.

“The fact is that they’ve been digging around for eight months now and have found absolutely nothing,” Christie, 52, told reporters in his State House office. “Wrap up your work. Do your job.”

but you know perfectly well that it's not over until the Feds say it's over. If it's true that they haven't offered anyone immunity, then they've got plenty of "nothing" on you. And anyone who's wondering why it's taking so long should visit the DU Christie Crime Digest. Cue the DU "Cry Me A (Hudson) River" string quartet!

.. but I agree with him. If you can't find out the truth in 8 months there are only 2 possibilties:

you are looking for a truth that does not exist.

or

you are blatantly incompetent.

Justice delayed is justice denied. It's time to make the case or go away.
