This wife-beating drunken ASSHAT of a federal judge helped railroad Gov. Don Siegelman.

Mark Fuller attorney mum on client's future as 4 more Congressmen call for judge's resignation

The attorney for an Alabama federal judge involved in a domestic violence case isn't saying if his client will resign, even as calls for him to step down increase.

Attorney Barry Ragsdale declined comment to AL.com Thursday on the future of U.S. District Judge Mark Fuller, who was arrested Aug. 9 on domestic violence charges involving his wife. Ragsdale told the AP Fuller is working through the complaint process initiated by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals following his arrest, a process that could end in a reprimand or a court request for his resignation.

The case has drawn national attention and comparisons to football star Ray Rice's recent arrest on domestic violence charges.

Meanwhile, three more members of the Alabama Congressional delegation are calling for Fuller's resignation.

Reps. Robert Aderholt, Mo Brooks, Spencer Bachus and Bradley Byrne said Fuller should resign immediately. Their comments come as Sens. Richard Shelby and Jeff Sessions, as well as Reps. Martha Roby, R-Montgomery, and Terri Sewell, D-Birmingham, said the 55-year-old judge should step down from the bench.

Then, a lot of them are along for the "Money trumps peace" and "commercial interests are very powerful interests" of George W Bush gravy train.

Fuller is a bastard of the warmonger school of the BFEE.

How can we expect them to investigate and free an innocent Don Siegelman?

Don't even ask about justice for JFK, MLK, RFK and a whole bunch more good people.

since the 60s. Too many connected people still want to keep files hidden away from the public. Maybe in another 100 years when no one can stop them, records will be opened and the damage can be taken in with a full assessment by future generations. Something tells me they will want to know why THEY are so fucked.

Judge Fuller accepts pre-trial diversion in domestic violence case, enters court program

By Mark Wilder
WSFA Fox, Sep 05, 2014

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - In a statement released on Friday morning, Judge Mark. E. Fuller revealed that he has accepted an offer of pre-trial diversion in his domestic violence case before the Atlanta Magistrate Court. The Atlanta court offers pre-trial intervention and diversion programs for some defendants in treatment programs.

Fuller was charged with misdemeanor battery after Atlanta police arrested him on August 8 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel following a 911 call from his wife. He was stripped of his cases following his August 10 arrest.

His statement:

Today, I accepted an offer of pre-trial diversion to resolve matters pending in the Atlanta Magistrate Court. I reached this difficult decision after consulting with my family, and deciding that it was in everyone's best interests to put this incident behind us. While I regret that my decision means that the full and complete facts regarding this incident will likely not come out, I have no doubt that it is what is best for all involved.

This incident has been very embarrassing to me, my family, friends and the court. I deeply regret this incident and look forward to working to resolve these difficulties with my family, where they should be resolved. As difficult as this situation is, I hope that you can respect the need to let my family heal as we move forward with addressing our private and personal family issues. I look forward to completing the family counseling that I voluntarily began several weeks ago and to successfully completing the requirements of the diversion. I also look forward to addressing the concerns of the Court and hopefully returning to full, active status in the Middle District of Alabama.

Fuller's attorney, Barry Ragsdale, told WSFA 12 News that Fuller has gone through an alcohol and drug evaluation which is a standard requirement in such cases. He says Fuller does not have an alcohol or drug problem.

I wonder if people who are poor or non-white enjoy "pre-trial diversions"?
