"We're all gonna die! It's the end of the world! Doom, gloom, locusts, jock itch!"

Oh, sorry...I was just reading the last ninety-seven e-mails i've received from the DCCC and other Dem fund raisers. Sorry, but if I'm gonna die anyway while locusts eat my face, why should I bother to donate money to the losers?

Hypothetical question, of course. But is this really a winning strategy? Just once I'd like to receive a hopeful, positive message from my party.
