....because they don't think he has one. According to the Republicans I talked to last weekend.

(9,688 posts)Real people get killed in these wars, in these bombings, in the expansion of the bombing fields.
The fact that your country is doing it should confuse the hell out of you.

(8,217 posts)Then again, I may be wrong...
More likely scenario would be them saying, he isn't bombing them enough.
That he should just go ahead and try to do a regime change.

(8,217 posts)To clarify what I meant.
The Republicans would probably go against whatever Obama has decided to do, no matter if it was their specific position prior.
Be it the opposite position, or saying "that just isn't enough".
As for me, I am unhappy with this current development.
I do not consider ISIS to be an existential threat, and their attacks towards us have been attacks of opportunity. Much of which were considered minor during the Bush administration.
I tend to think it has been blown out of proportion.
In the end, I don't really care what they say, nor am I completely disappointed with Obama since I don't have much faith or expectations of him to begin with. I have always thought that he would go with whatever is recommended to him by the military.
This is no surprise.

Probably my fault there. So... I guess, I'll leave it at that.
