We Spoke to the Alaskan Reporter Who Quit Her Job on Live TV to Run a Weed Dispensary

How's the business been going?
It’s been going great! Well enough for me to feel comfortable in walking away from a career that I’ve spent all my adulthood building.

Why did you decide to quit in such an extravagant fashion?
[Laughs] To draw attention to the issue. You, as a journalist, know that all of us are replaceable. The people aren’t really going to miss you, or me, or any random reporter for the most part. So why not just use the position I was put in to make sure that my next chapter is just wide open for me?

If she thinks that they're going to let her as an African-American woman walk off into the sunset after using foul language and quitting on air to sell weed, she is going to be in for a rude awakening. She messed with some very powerful people who are going to screw her Six Ways to Sunday and make an example of her.

My advice for her, if she has any guns register them all or get rid of them because the first thing they do to screw you over is slap on bogus weapons charges also verify the age of every customer, don't sell to minors and be prepared for a DEA raid where they confiscate all of your assets and/or an IRS audit.

More power to her but I hope she thought this through and is prepared for whats coming and if she hasnt already, its probably a great idea to hire a lawyer now.

This is just how the world works and why people in broadcast tv rarely do this.

Charlo Greene -- the Alaskan reporter who quit her job to fight for legalized weed -- allegedly smoked so much pot at home ... her next door neighbor's kid got violently ill ... and now they're warring in court.

Tyler Gilbrech tells TMZ ... Charlo and her boyfriend moved into the apartment above his in June, and claims she immediately started stinking up the place with so much reefer ... his 4-yr-old daughter became violently sick from the fumes seeping through the walls.

Tyler says he ratted Charlo out to the building manager, and that's when things got ugly.

According to court docs ... Charlo harassed and threatened Tyler several times -- telling him to "watch his back." Tyler filed for, and got, a temporary restraining order against Charlo 2 weeks ago.

She's since moved out of the building, and has to stay at least 20 ft. away from Tyler and his family. A court hearing is scheduled for later this month.

dipshits from all 49 states who can't cut it or do stuff like this all the time. She fits in perfectly. No one gives much of a damn about you unless you rob them or shoot them. We are the last great hope for the idiot, loser, dreamer, runaway, 'mountain man' and every other dingbat who can't function Outside. Check out our legislature. What sucks hard is her pushing her business on television, then walking off after saying what she said. She was immature and idiotic. She doesn't have to worry about the rest. I have lived here for 40 years. If this bill passes, she gets rich. Its a truly republican thing she did. Period. IMO.
