... and Mary Burke will get fewer votes than Tom Barrett did in those elections. I predict Walker will beat Burke by a slightly larger margin than he beat Barrett.

Hopefully Burke will do/say something to motivate people to the polls between now and November 4th and prove me wrong.

Whoever decided to crown her the unbeatable challenger, as opposed to someone like Kathleen Vinehout that may have energized the base, was way wrong.
There are so many unknowns about Mary Burke, and IMO is coming off as a pampered heir to the Trek fortune that is not really touting her own accomplishments.
Now with the plagiarism "scandal" the GOP is the one framing public perception of her. They are portraying her as a puppet that doesn't really have her own platform, and when she comes out and basically blames others for her Jobs plan that she was bragging about just last week, doesn't make her look too much better.
I said in the early going that she wasn't my choice, and I haven't been any more energized since then. In my mind her #1 selling point is that she isn't Scott Walker, but is that enough to get enough votes against him? I don't know, but I tend to agree with your prediction.
