Just maybe we have too much military equipment?

Not only is the Defense Department giving surplus military vehicles and equipment to local police departments and local school boards, they are also dumping some into the ocean for reef development. Maybe someone should cut off their free meal ticket?

or a school parking lot.

Yes, we should cut the military budget and no we should not be giving military equipment to local police forces. Excess equipment should be transferred to the National Guard or the Reserves anything excess to those needs should be scrapped. That said this equipment is long obsolete and at least it is doing something positive for the environment .
