This is in reference to news reports using that word to describe Dinesh D'Souza.
Is it fair to say that "scholar" has something to do with school? ok then, let's look at his schooling. Dinesh has a B.A. in English.
My point isn't partisan. I'll use two RW cretins as an example to make my point. A question for the Associated Press, have you ever called Michael Savage a scholar? He has a Ph.D, and he writes books. What about Ann Coulter? She has a J.D., and she writes books.
So why D'Souza?

Anyone can be a scholar. Usually a scholar is in school.
