Will Assad's government survive our war?

Of course not.

There has been no secret that one of the objectives in trainin the rebels is for them to take on (and take down) Assad. During the opening salvo of the Syria war, we saw how slyly the US can broaden its targets and justifications to include groups other than IS.

There is not secret this will be a war last on the order of years, three at a minimum.

Does anyone seriously believe that the US will end this operation will Assad still standing? Anyone?

Of course not. This is pre-emption. This is a war of choice. This is regime change.
