Lying to get us into another war? Check.
Indiscriminate killing of civilians? Check.
Using the military to control oil supplies? Check.
Each of these complaints has been made against the President in the past week with regard to our action against ISIS. How can you let a neocon chickenhawk like him stay in office?
CLARIFICATION: I meant each of these complaints has been made HERE...

(11,804 posts)third one speculative.
But then again I didn't think we should have impeached Bush over the war either. The surveillance state and his flouting of the law gave more rationale for it in my mind.

(15,237 posts)Forego the 2014 election elect a republican senate. Demand your way and your way only your conscience will be clean but be prepared to bow to religious fanatics authoritarians, Koch Brothers corporate loons, libertarian goof balls, racist, and last but not least teabaggers.
Get ready for the repeal of Social Security which you paid for, free market insurance, elimination of public schools, many more wars, more oligarchs, and rejoice in the equality afforded in serving your new masters who pay no taxes.

(94,520 posts)...I'm wondering why folks are accusing the President of being a neo-con sellout but apparently aren't ready to do anything about it.

(146,288 posts)You don't see that suggested here because it's not even an option. The only places impeachment is brought up is on right wing outlets. It's one thing to disagree with a President's policies. It's quite another to suggest impeachment.

(114,904 posts)I've objected to this new war. I have said none of those things. Yes, one can find comments to support practically any point one wishes to make.
You don't like criticism of this new war. You don't like criticism of anything regarding the President or Hillary. I think people here are aware of your partisan nature.
Many people here have given sober assessments of why they believe this new war or new front on a perpetual war, is a bad idea. No one has suggested impeaching the President over it.
but you want to be sensationalist and divert attention from the issues.
poor job you're making of it.

(44,228 posts)The people making the arguments you listed, over and over and over and over and over, don't have the courage of their convictions to actually state what they really believe, because they'd probably get banned.
So they waffle, and prevaricate, and obfuscate and never come out and take their arguments to it's logical conclusion.
Posting privileges before principles.
'Course, if they do get banned, they just sign up with a new name and carry on with their bullshit anyway.

I think folks ought to be careful who they align with.
