bush was probably drunk or hung over or on something. I never put it past him. And for all the slurred speech I had to suffer through whenever he tried to put two or more sentences together at one sitting, you could not convince me that he wasn't still drinking. Either that or he wasn't drinking anymore by then, but was manifesting the brain damage it caused.

I guessed his drinking or cocaine days did it, or maybe a damned good whack upside the head. He seemed incompetent and overwhelmed.

I read that Jeb was the Bush golden boy the family wanted to be Prez. But little Georgie had the name, so he had to run.

I felt he didn't want the job anyway. He wasn't up to it, so he was willing to cheat and had the family cabal behind to ensure the win.

Nasty times all around.

She was utterly pathetic, sitting there being interviewed on camera. She was overweight, and wasn't in the best of health, either. So of course, she also lost her health insurance when she lost her job. And even with all of that, she actually said she couldn't possibly vote for any candidate who wasn't wearing a flag pin.

I know a guy that is pretty liberal (or libertarian?) on social issues - pro choice, okay with gay marriage, etc - and has a low paying job with mediocre benefits and some severe long-term health issues. You'd think he'd be voting Democratic most every time? No - he hates Democrats with a passion because he's afraid Democrats are coming for his guns. Other than being a gun nut, the guy is tailor made to vote Democratic.

The employees allege he engaged in repeated and gross violation of labor laws and are suing for back pay. Two of Zakarian's partners in the related restaurant support the workers claims, but Zakarian's publicist denied the claims."

And:

Those photos nearly killed Bush's most avid supporters. In the end their only solution was to try to hide them. It just didn't compute for them, their HERO COWBOY kissing the 'enemy' and a 'male enemy' at that. I was bad back then and posted them constantly asking them if they finally got the message, THEY HAD BEEN SCAMMED!

They so completely bought into the whole 'terrorists from ME' propaganda which to them ANYONE who live there was the enemy. And they looked to Bush as their BRAVE leader supported by no less than GOD HIMSELF, for guidance. They PRAYED for him every day.

And then, they saw him with their own eyes, cavorting with the enemy, KISSING and HUGGING those 'ragheads'.

I doubt many of them have recovered from the shock! Lol!

Latest Right-wing-lunatic Smear About Obama: Dijongate

snip//

If the Republican Party wants to go on a listening tour to figure out what they need to do, they may start turning off their radios and televisions too. Every day we post about the absurdity that is the Republican Party and every day a completely new mind-numbing smear comes out.

I understand what they are doing. They feel if they keep chipping away at President Obama with nonsensical complaints, it will slowly erode his popularity. The problem they face is that they look like loons doing it, and all the polls point to the same conclusion. It's good for ratings on FOX, because those uber-loons are watching the little horde of Republican lunatics in action with a fervent glee, but mainstream America is laughing at them.
