GOP Will Run Against Weak Dems & Obama For Not Invading ME With Divisions Of Troops.

GOP will run against Dems for being weak on terrorism and defense because we do not have thousands of troops on the ground in Iraq and Syria already. All they need is a domestic attack of some kind to spur them on. We can already see the writing on the wall. The Cheney doctrine will reassert itself in the public debate.

Bush said he would make sure future presidents could NOT get out of Afghanistan and Iraq. He may have well succeeded. It is like being caught up in a Chinese finger puzzle. In the end Bush did reach many of his goals. He fulfilled many neoconservative goals.

How about if he invades Easter Island? Cheaper, a winnable war, and less "collateral damage". Tierra_y_Libertad Sep 2014 #3

afraid they'd mess their pants if so portrayed. Ergo, a never-ending cycle of belligerent nationalism, the bombing peoples of color on the slightest pretense, even pre-emptive wars of aggression based on a cacophony of lies. While I'm proud to be an 11th-generation lad to these shores, I'm not proud of what criminally belligerent right-wing governance has wrought.

And, the troops could probably storm the beaches barefoot.
