the ongoing war and the bombings in Syria?
I would not be surprised. Since they came out with a poll last week showing 60 some percent of the people supporting the President's plan to bomb ISIS.
The next poll will show 60 some percent against the President's plan to bomb ISIS. Isn't that the way these polls are supposed to work??

(111,056 posts)Why is it that two or three weeks ago, a large majority were against bombing Syria? Only after they were shown the "beheadings" did they change their positions. What's to say they want change again in two or three weeks? Polls are spontaneous - not given to long, thought out solutions. Of course, decisions of war should never be undertaken from a poll.

(3,431 posts)The fear mongering has been too successful for that. And I take it as a given that more gruesome videos will come out again. The MSM will be delighted to play them, and many Americans see our country as the savior of the world, rightly or wrongly.
