Where is our greatest strategic 'partner' in the Middle East (israel) in this fight

against ISIS/ISIL, ET. AL.?

All I'm seeing is 'lip service', not military actions by the 'oh so great ones'. What the hell did we pay for all of these decades if they can't at least drop a bomb or two?

but they have not sent any of their soldiers to fight in Iraq in 1991, 2003 and now. They did not send any troops to Afghanistan either. It seems like they are our ally only when they want something (and usually for free).

funding of their military.

Why should they get a pass when we are asking every other nation to get involved including Iran?

Or is it the case of the wimpy bully on the block cutting and running to let the others cover their ass?

Palestinian apartheid, piece of cake. Fighting ISIS...not so much.

And everything to do with Religious votes here in the US - both Jew and christian. More the latter. No president wants to be the guy who "left Israel vulnerable" in the eyes of the surprisingly large body of Christian voters - including left-of-center - who see Israel's supremacy as essential to their religion's future.

There's also the economic aspects of it - Funding Israel (and Saudi Arabia) is basically a method of laundering money, passing it to these states so they can pass it back to American arms and "security" companies.

They can't get incolved because if they do, the Muslims of whatever faith would band together to wipe them out, perhaps?
