Right wingers are celebrating Holder's resignation

I just heard the news so I decided to scan the interwebz for reaction.

The right wingers hated him and I do think a lot of it had to do with his race. Many on "the left" are also celebrating the resignation of the first black Attorney General.

Politics makes strange bedfellows.

I think Holder was a fantastic AG and I'm sad he's leaving.

Some liberals perceive him as "weak" because he didn't take on Wall Street.

RWers probably thought he was coming to take their guns, flags and Bibles away.

and less than stellar on such issues as marijuana and wall street wrongdoing.

don't conflate the racism directed at him from the right to legitimate criticism from the left.

Probably so on many other days by many other DUers. You don't have to think he is the greatest AG ever but you don't have to shit on him either.

I think that is disgraceful, I think that is Repuglican talk. Holder has been under such enormous fire and straight out lies told about him, I don't blame him for wanting to get out. Sometimes I wish the President would just say I Quit, and Fuck ya'll Ingrates.

6. Another poster mentioned that: Eric Holder is not leaving till they appoint a replacement.

Meaning, unless they can find a suitable replacement that Obama goes for, they are stuck with Mr. Holder and it is all their fault.

It just put a smile on my face.

7. Hey GoP, Holder might just be our next Supreme Court Justice.

I wish it would happen.
Ginsberg may just change her mind about not retiring.

Holder is staying on until a replacement is approved. We all know our current Republican lead congress hates to approve any appointment President Obama makes. Even though in this one instance I'd think they might make an exception, I'm not fully convinced they will. It goes against their core value of obstructionism.

They just can't help themselves, like voting against their own bills if the president is in favor of them.

Subtlety really isn't your strong suit.

Many on the left are not going to stop their critical thinking and analysis for fear of being called racist by the likes of you.
