WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) A Republican Super PAC defended the broadcast, on Saturday morning, of an attack ad highly critical of Hillary Clintons newborn granddaughter, Charlotte, who was born on Friday.
The ad raises several serious questions about the newborn, at one point accusing her of being related to Benghazi.
In criticizing a one-day-old infant, the ad is believed to be the earliest political attack ad on record.
Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky is fair game, a spokesman for the Americans Concerned About Charlotte Super PAC said. We have to assume that she is the presumptive Democratic nominee in 2052.

(3,056 posts)When I read the headline, I thought "This must be The Onion", and then I noticed it was the New Yorker and thought "Uh-oh, this may be the real thing." That being said, even knowing it's satire, would you really put something like this past Karl Rove? I figure right now he's pissed that he didn't think of this first.

(53,661 posts)Someone keeps posting her voting record here with links that disproves the hate, but I keep losing the file. Must not have labeled it correctly.
Hillary's not my first choice because she's not a good public speaker, IMHO. But she will get my vote IF she wins the DNC nomination.
Warren supports her for POTUS and Sanders can provide definition of DNC values in a primary debate. He's said he may run as a Democrat in order to get the fifty-state coverage he needs to make a difference.
But if people refuse to get out to vote a month or so, I suspect he and Hillary will both drop out of 2016. He has begged people to vote for the Democrats, but it's falling on deaf ears.
If Obama supports her as Hillary did him even going out and campaigning for him after he won the DNC nomination in 2008 cycle, and even more with Bill in 2012, it'll inspire even more hatred.
It'll be a hatred trifecta:
Bush=Obama=Clinton.

(5,106 posts)of course, they won't reciprocate...and they shouldn't. How long before the reality of the Republican insanity begins to sink in to everyone with a functioning brain cell? These are not the Republicans I grew up with previous to St. Ronnie ( when hard core conservatism took control). These are narrow minded idiots. How can anyone subscribe to this insanity? What's truly frightening is that I guess there is Old Testament precedent for killing babies. Have we truly spawned an old testament mentality for today's "Christians?" If only espoused by a few really radical, and in no way real Christians, it's still truly terrifying. Time for Agnostics, "real" Christians, and Atheists (in other words, the truly intelligent) to get together and take control.
