When has any of the networks aired a US Congressman talking to a Bush cabinet member this way?

‘You killed a million people in Iraq’ George Galloway tells Blair Cabinet Member

(sorry about the ad)

BBC

“George Galloway told a former member of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown’s cabinets she killed one million people in Iraq. The former Labour MP, now a Respect MP, turned on Jacqui Smith as they looked ahead to Friday’s vote in Parliament on possible UK military action in the Middle East.”

Ed. note: It isn’t so much that one necessarily agrees with Galloway’s alternative in every detail so much as that it is refreshing to see politicians speaking frankly and having such sentiments appear on national television. I don't believe I have heard that from anyone on this side of the pond.

for Reagan's support of brutal dictators in Central America, but that was in the '80s, probably while the Fairness Doctrine was still in effect.

Remember when Galloway spoke before the US senate?

That was a one time event that sank like a stone. Sure it may have been discussed here on DU but the rest of the world didn't see it so it didn't happen.

When hell freezes over. American corporate media is far too busy patting itself on the back and circle jerking at the same time.
