George Galloway told a former member of Tony Blair and Gordon Browns cabinets she killed one million people in Iraq. The former Labour MP, now a Respect MP, turned on Jacqui Smith as they looked ahead to Fridays vote in Parliament on possible UK military action in the Middle East.
Ed. note: It isnt so much that one necessarily agrees with Galloways alternative in every detail so much as that it is refreshing to see politicians speaking frankly and having such sentiments appear on national television. for Reagan's support of brutal dictators in Central America, but that was in the '80s, probably while the Fairness Doctrine was still in effect.

Remember when Galloway spoke before the US senate?

That was a one time event that sank like a stone. Sure it may have been discussed here on DU but the rest of the world didn't see it so it didn't happen.

When hell freezes over. American corporate media is far too busy patting itself on the back and circle jerking at the same time.
