America has enshrined in its national security doctrine a right to use force at its own discretion.

The Kremlin is puzzled by US President Barack Obama’s speech at the UN General Assembly earlier this week in which he ranked Russia among the top three threats to international security, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said today.

http://voiceofrussia.com/uk/news/2014_09_26/Moscow-rebukes-Obama-for-calling-Russia-an-international-security-threat-4683/

"We have been assigned a second place on his list of threats to global peace and security. The first place is occupied by the spread of the Ebola virus, the second - as President Obama called it, is 'the Russian aggression in Europe', and only the third is taken by the Islamic State, al-Qaeda and other terrorists who are roaming around the Middle East as we speak, especially in the countries where the United States have intervened illegally, in violation of international law," Lavrov said.

"On the contrary, we are interested in putting out the flames of conflicts around the world through a fair dialogue based on equality of rights and mutual respect - rather than through unilateral accusations and shifting the responsibility on someone else," the minister stressed."

I agree entirely with the Russian presidential aid speaking about President Obama's puzzling ranking of world threats at his UN speech. N. Korea, Iran and a few others have dropped off the "most feared" list. Not for long, I am sure.

Not to worry, folks in the "land of the brave", surely a new "Axis of Evil" is in the works for your viewing pleasure and fear.

ISIS, Ebola and......Russia?

America acted on two of these great threats to world and American national security, without seeking UN approval, sending troops willy nilly as it pleases without regard to international law, seeking no ones consent, because might makes right.

Not so much war drum beating for Russia, you may have noticed. Sanctions, not troops.

Is Putin coming for you also, Americans? Are the Russians coming for you? Will you cower in fear again just as the mass media commands you, as it has on ISIS?

After all, Russia is just down the Obama threat list, right after a possible world viral apocalypse plague! The Red Army has done far, far less invading and bombing and killing and nation puppetry building than Uncle Sam's Army, but that can all be ignored when enough fear is generated, the reptilian part of the human brain is like that.

Boo.

And deliver us from evil.

Works every time.

I don't see anyone doing anything different. Do you live in America? Are people hiding in their homes and refusing to fly in planes and stockpiling toilet paper where you live? Because it's not happening where I live.

evil that is oceans away.

Bet Americans would be literally, as opposed to metaphorically, hiding under their beds if the country bordered on Iran.

with the Yazidi genocide threat and the beheadings--what you see when America supports airstrikes is mostly anger. Americans are concerned about terrorism, but mostly believe terrorists simply need a-killin', and we're the ones to do it--at least in Iraq, since we kind of own that. There really is nothing cowardly about Americans. I don't think anyone else in the world would agree with your assessment.

When you point one finger at others, three are pointing back at you.
US powers should remember that quotation. The US is a far greater threat to world peace than Russia.

"democratically" elected and who wants world control takes the helm of the massive American military, then what?

The ducks are already in a row for that.

Thanks for the Rec., we think much alike, we need many more.
