(or maybe great-grandson at his age), would it be sexist to wonder if he might not be more interested in staying home and doing "grandpa things" than in running for President?

Having just been forced into retirement by health issues, I'm finding myself settling into "grandpa things" and can understand its appeal, regardless of gender stuff.

the President would nominate a RWer. The only way to insure that is to get a RW Prez. I don't see any of the three justices leaving unless in a box. As to Grandma...maybe, maybe not. Yes it's fund to be a grandma, but I can't remember anyone having the support she has BEFORE ever even stating she's a candidate! I think it would be REALLY HARD to turn that down.

Hillary Clinton became a Grandmother on Saturday.

It's one of the most important things she will do with her life.

She raised an incredible daughter who just had a daughter.

There's not a damned sexist thing about that and saying it isn't the least bit snark.

A 3rd Generation Hillary.

That. ain't. sexist. nor. snarky.

That's a wonderful thing!

He just turned 66, making him (distantly) the 5th oldest current Justice of SCOTUS, just-short of 2 years older than Alito and about 6 years older than Roberts or Sotomayor. I know it seems like he's older because he's served so long, but he was in his 40s when appointed. He's slightly younger than the Clintons. We're probably stuck with him for at-least another 15 years.
