Is the big idea that they can turn this into "Yet another Obama f*ck up"?

Of course, the Secret Service needs investigating, no doubt about it. But are the Republicans hoping for some pay-off for their party? That might have been a bit messed up with the revelation about the funding sequester causing a major understaffing of the Service...

This thing is far from over. Methinks the GOP will be a tad less aggressive now that the funding is becoming an issue...

2. Yes, I saw her. That's why I brought this up.

I note, also, that the Democrats on the committee have been pretty steamed, too, at the Secret Service's seeming insouciance. And, sadly, I don't think the new head of the Service is that great. I thought she was vague and a bit self serving in her testimony.

I think Joe Scarborough was actually onto something today on Morning Joe. He wondered if the SS agents had their heads into their IPhones texting when the latest jumper went over the fence...it's amazing how many people just stare into their phones these days...

1) their faux "concern" over generic presidential security, covering their hatred for *this* specific president.

2) They have had some ex-military or ex-Spook "expert" with clear animus toward OBAMA, saying that it was less of a Secret Service problem than it is a "White House STAFF problem," that OBAMA and all of his staff have and anti-SS bias, that the SS recommendations for security are ignored, that this is like the Hippie CLINTONs' hatred of the military.

All their wingnut stereotypes all rolled up into one ball: Dems/Hippies, unpatriotic, hate the military/any "security" apparatus. AND they are f***ups on top of it, slackers, not vigilant, probably out of shape because of their pot smoking.

9. Discrediting the female head of the Secret Service

I found it "telling" that the leak was first made to Jason Chaffetz, a well-known knuckle-dragging GOPer.

There are bound to be disingenuous members of the Secret Service, who are GOP leaning types.

EVERYTHING and EVERY department of government has been turned into political cesspools of plotters..
