I cut my folksinger teeth on his songs back in the mid-60s.

"I Ain't Marchin' Any More" was one of my favourites.

It's always the old to lead us to the war
It's always the young to fall

What a great way to cut your folk singer teeth on.

I think I Ain't Marching Anymore is my favorite

One of my favorite, "Draft Dodger Rag"

They Might Be Giants did a cover of Och's One More Parade. I was listening to a Death Cab for Cutie song, and realized that it was really reminding me of Phil Ochs. Did a search, and found one of the members had recorded an Ochs cover album.

The stuff he made in Africa is on youtube, and pretty interesting:
