Can the ebola virus ride around on money?

Just think of that. Patient with symptoms buys something... pays with actual money rather than credit/debit card. Dollars, quarters, dimes etc now carry the virus. Possible?

However, it doesn't really explain *how* it can't ride on money. If an infected person sneezes into their hand, then pulls change out of their pocket, they have directly transferred virus particles onto the coins. Same as if they touch a doorknob.
