Fine, I'll say it - Ebola guy in TX is a fucking asshole.


"Good Samaritan" my ass. What kind of jackass is exposed to a dying ebola victim,then makes the following choices: LIES at the airport a few days later, then goes on a jaunt and visits family members, etc., THEN goes to hospital and doesn't fucking say anything to EVERYONE, everywhere?

There is a lot of magical thinking in any sort of infectious plague.

If it makes you feel better, he's facing charges for that in Liberia.

that his best chance of getting well was to join his sister in America, and that he wouldn't be allowed to leave the country if he told the truth about having contact with a dead victim.

Malaria and other febrile illnesses do not occur there. Pregnant women with seizures always have Ebola and never eclampsia, which does not occur in Liberia.
